The ride on the Bullet train (Shinkansen in
Japanese) is more like an airplane without some of the hassles. Recently the
latest Bullet trains, the Shinkansen can run at 300 km/h. Cost
wise the bullet train is fairly similar to flying within Japan, but with the
advantage that your start and end right in the middle of the city. In addition
to being incredibly fast, shinkansen are also incredibly safe: in more than 30
years of operation, there has never been a fatality
We took "Bullet Train" for Kyoto.
