Disneyland in Tokyo

Tokyo Disneyland is  theme park in the Tokyo. It was the first Disney park to be built outside of the United States and was opened on April 15, 1983. The park was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the same style as Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

There are eight themed areas, each complementing each other yet unique in their style. Made up of the World Bazaar, the five classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown, and two mini lands. The park is noted for its huge open spaces to accommodate the massive crowds.

We could spend nearly half a day only in Disneyland as it rained, though we enjoyed it lot especially Cinderella Castle, Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Fantasyland, Pirates of the Caibbean.

As it was the 20th Anniversary of the park's grand opening, the Disney characters and 200 other performers had a dazzling and delightful parade through the Park in the morning and evening. The parade opens with Fauna and Flora on a float of Cinderella Castle, welcoming guests into the Kingdom of Dreams and Magic.
