Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is Japan's highest mountain with 3776 meters high, is a dormant volcano, which most recently erupted in 1708.Nearly perfectly cone shaped volcano has been worshipped as a sacred mountain. We took a bus tour, out of Tokyo, to see Mount Fuji.

Mt. Fuji 5th station:
A drive halfway up Mt. Fuji to the Fifth Station (alt.2,305 m.), enjoying scenery en route. The atmosphere around the fifth station is
great, even if the air is thin. It's noticeably cooler than it is at the base of the mountain. There are a few restaurants, and many shops here. You just to be able to say you've "climbed" on Mount Fuji (to some degree!).

Lake Ashi : To get to cruise across beautiful Lake Ashi was fun, with the cool lake breezes. Lake Ashi was formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone after the volcano's last eruption 3000 years ago. A boat cruise from one end of the lake to the other takes roughly 30 minutes

Mt.Komagatake Aerial Cableway:
Ride an aerial cableway up and down Mt.Komagatake for a sweeping view of celebrated Hakone National Park.
After a ride up a cable tram from lakeside to mountaintop, you're not only treated to a great view of the lake, but a constantly cool breeze, and several walking trails around the area. One of the trails leads you to a picturesque shrine or temple of some sort. If you're lucky enough, you can get a nice view of Mount Fuji from here, but our luck in this category was lost. All we saw were a lot of clouds and haze where Mount Fuji would've been.

Picture of Lake Ashi taken from the 1800 meter long Hokone Komagatake Ropeway. Mt Komagatake, the central volcanic cone of the Hakone range, rises 1327 (4400 ft) meters above sea level. The ride takes seven minutes.

We are at a height of 1327meter, almost in the cloud. It's too cold,I felt like we are going to freez and Sambhaji is brave enough to click & record the scenary.
