Hello,
Thanks for visiting our on-line home and I am very glad to
have you here.
Let me first introduce myself, I am Sambhaji also called by
friends and family members as Sambha.
I have spent my childhood days in Sangamner, a small town in Maharashtra
State of India, where my father used to work for a sugar factory. Most
of early years were spent in Sangamner, then went to Pune, Mumbai and
now in Singapore. After completion of my engineering I started my career
as a design engineer in Pune and continued it for around four years. I
like the city and its culture; those were the fun days of bachelor’s
life and most of the evenings were spent with friends moving around the
city and tried different cuisines (at the mess :-)).
However the time comes when one has to move ahead. So I shifted to
Mumbai for my future assignment with a company in Thane. I worked there
for about three years. This was the time when I decided to start a
family and the lucky day came when I got married with a beautiful and
loving girl Hemali from Nasik, a city near my hometown. This was
introduction marriage also called as arranged marriage in India. We knew
each other for about two month before the marriage.
Then I moved to Singapore for my further career advancements to work
with an American multinational. Now I am working in Singapore since 1999
and I like the country, but do miss friends and family in India. It has
been great opportunity to work with the people from different countries
and cultures. With this new assignment I got lot of opportunities to
visit almost all the major countries in Asia-Pacific, some countries in
Europe and the USA. This has given me a different insight and knowledge
about people, culture, business etc.
Let me share with you something
about my inner self. I am a person of determination with focus on my goals and
character, respect ethical and moral values, love my family and friends, and try to extend my help
to anyone wherever possible.
If I have to say something that I believe in, it will be “build
character on good principles and values, have a mission in life and
passion to achieve it, always be ready to help, loving and caring, have
a fun and be happy”.
